Although our name may lead one to believe we export some sort of green luv from Jamaica or Switzerland, Smoky Carrot is based in London, UK, and active in the music business as a record label (Smoky Carrot Records) and  as a music publisher (Smoky Carrot Music).

Smoky Carrot was founded in 2006 by entertainment lawyer, artist manager and yogi Pete Dyson and artist manager-maverick Paul Perrelet. In 2011, Carlo Miles joined the adventure as marketing director. 

Smoky Carrot first established its name on the London scene by promoting live shows (over 100s of them) in various well known venues such as Proud Galleries, The Borderline, 333, the Underbelly, The Cobden Club or The Macbeth. Bands having played our Smoky Carrot Sessions include Band Of Skulls, Rodeo Massacre, The Cordelier Club, The Kabeedies, The Holloways, etc... In 2009, Smoky Carrot Records was created, followed by Smoky Carrot Music in 2010. In 2011, we increased our digital presence by digitally distributing independent labels and projects.
